According to an Alcohol.org survey with 1,000 Americans, however, New Year’s Eve was the most associated with drinking alcohol for 44% of the female participants. While some adults may never have tried alcohol, such as beer, wine, or liquor, a large percentage have tried it at least once in their lives. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, for instance, this applies to 86.4% of adults.
Many Millennials choose to enjoy beer, wine, and liquor. A recent survey estimated that between 71% to 73% of adults within this age group do so. Adults aged 55 and older also drink beer, wine, and liquor. This amounts to an estimated 65% of people within this age group.
